When she was 16, Shinkle levied accusations of rape in an inflammatory video on YouTube. She did so even after she admitted to police that the sex was consensual, along with admitting to drug usage. One point that could be made is that it's important for men to be aware of Shinkle's actions, because she is now 19, and any male who engages in sexual activity with her may want to get her consent in writing, to prevent a repeat of what happened in 2006.
